Kibada Orphanage Centre sees a memorable Eid Day at Fun City

DAR ES SALAAM: OVER 30 youth from Busara Orphanage Centre in Kibada, Kigamboni, were treated to a memorable Eid celebration after being hosted by Fun City in Dar es Salaam.
The children had a rare chance to enjoy the festive season like their peers, with entertainment, games, and shared meals at a popular leisure spot. Laughter and excitement filled the venue as the youngsters explored various fun activities, creating lasting memories.
Fun City Marketing Manager, Khalifa Bakari, said the initiative is part of the company’s commitment to giving back to the community, noting the importance of reaching out to vulnerable children, especially during festive periods.
“We believe every child deserves happiness and a sense of belonging, particularly during special occasions like Eid,” he said, adding that the company will continue working with stakeholders to support those in need.
Caretaker Khadija Ally called on the public to support orphans year-round, stressing that their needs are ongoing and require collective responsibility.
The children expressed gratitude for the gesture, saying the experience brought them joy and encouraged society to remain close to them by offering consistent support, including essential school supplies.
