Rich cultural heritage, Ngorongoro trumpet Tanzanian tourism at Mumbai Exhibition

MUMBAI: The Tanzania Tourism Board (TTB) has officially launched its participation in the OTM India 2026 Tourism Exhibition, taking place at the Jio World Convention Centre in Mumbai from February 5 to 7, 2026.
A statement issued by the board today, February 6, 2026, said that through participation, Tanzania is promoting itself as a leading African tourism destination by showcasing world-renowned national parks, scenic beaches, rich cultural heritage, and unique nature-based experiences under the “Tanzania Unforgettable” brand.
According to TTB, OTM India provides a key platform for Tanzania to strengthen strategic partnerships with Indian tourism stakeholders, a rapidly growing international market.

At the Tanzania pavilion, TTB is conducting business-to-business (B2B) meetings, engaging travel agents, investors, and media to boost tourist arrivals.

Other Tanzanian institutions participating include Air Tanzania Company Limited (ATCL), Tanzania National Parks Authority (TANAPA), and the Ngorongoro Conservation Area Authority (NCAA), collectively showcasing the country’s diverse tourism products and investment opportunities.
TTB further said that the country’s presence at OTM India 2026 reflects the government’s commitment to opening new markets, building sustainable partnerships, and promoting the country as a premier destination for travel, leisure, and investment.
