Serengeti, Mt Kilimanjaro, Zanzibar glorify Tanzanian beauty at Doha Travel Mart

DOHA:  VISITORS from across the world explored the beauty, investment potential, and unique tourism experiences that make Tanzania a premier global destination at the ongoing Qatar Travel Mart in Doha.

According to information from the Tanzania Tourist Board representing the country in Doha, it stated that from Serengeti and Ngorongoro to Zanzibar, Kilimanjaro, and the country’s cultural heritage, the world connected with Tanzania in a powerful way.

“Day one sets the tone for meaningful engagements, strategic tourism promotion, and building bridges between destinations. The journey has officially begun. Qatar Travel Mart – Day 1 was a success!,” the board stated.

During the exhibitions, Tanzania aims to increase awareness of the country’s tourist attractions among the people of Qatar, a market of high-income tourists.

The three-day exhibition, which began yesterday, November 24 to 26, is poised to become the definitive platform for the global travel and tourism industry, where the world’s leading destinations converge to showcase the latest trends in Sports, MICE, Business, culture, Leisure, Luxury, Medical, and Halal Tourism.

The exhibition offers buyers and visitors the chance to discover Qatar’s unique attractions, while connecting with a diverse network of industry leaders—ranging from Destination Management Companies, hotels, tour and cruise operators, and travel agencies, to technology providers, associations, and tourism boards.
