Aussie tourists sing praises of Tanzanian beauty

ARUSHA: A tourist visiting Tanzania for the first time has said the country has left no reason not to return, praising the country’s endless attractions, warm hospitality, and overwhelmingly friendly people.

The thrilled tourist, who introduced herself as Nicole,  from Sydney, Australia, said visitors coming to Tanzania would not be disappointed at all.

“This is my second time to Africa, first time to Tanzania, but it’s been amazing so far. It’s very diverse, you just never know, each day’s different, you’ll see something different every day, whether it be the mountains or like, I think when you picture Africa, like Tanzania is probably quintessential Africa, like when you see like a postcard of Africa, that’s definitely what I picture, what my experience so far, so it’s been really good,” she said.

Explaining her adventure in the country, she stated that so far they’ve just done a mountain, like a village walk and it was amazing.

“It was amazing, the people are so friendly. Yeah, I just don’t really know what to expect, but it’s been a lovely surprise every single day, so today we’re going to go to the crater and then on to Serengeti, so very excited,” she said.

She added “Well, we’ve been very lucky, we’ve actually seen the big five already, but I love elephants, I could watch them all day, African elephants are just, there’s something about them and like, you’ll just see so many of them and it’s been amazing, I could just sit there and watch them all day, so looking forward to seeing more of them and it’ll be amazing to see a cheetah, but fingers crossed.”
