CCM appeals for peaceful voting in Serengeti

SERENGETI: A MEMBER of the National Executive Committee (NEC) of Chama Cha Mapinduzi (CCM), Ms Hellen Bogohe, has called on Tanzanians to safeguard peace and refrain from any actions that could destabilise the country during the election period.
Addressing residents at Mugumu Ward during the final campaign meetings for CCM Serengeti Constituency, Ms Bogohe urged citizens to exercise their constitutional right to vote while placing peace above all else.
“Your vote is a powerful tool for change. Use it wisely, but remember that peace is the foundation for development and stability in our nation,” she said.

Meanwhile, CCM parliamentary candidate for Serengeti, Ms Mary Joseph, pledged to tackle key development challenges in the constituency, including the construction of an airport, improvement of road networks, and resolution of water and electricity issues.
Chairman of the Mara Region Parents’ Wing, Ms Julius Masubo, encouraged citizens to participate actively in the elections, assuring them that the exercise would be conducted peacefully.
Local resident Mr Mwita Chacha commended the smooth conduct of campaign activities in Mugumu Ward and reminded the youth that life continues after elections, urging them to protect the nation’s peace.
