Dr Mwinyi guarantees peace, safety to the Isles’ communities

ZANZIBAR: THE Chama Cha Mapinduzi (CCM) presidential candidate for Zanzibar, Dr Hussein Ali Mwinyi, said the ruling party will continue to promote peace and unity, assuring that no one will be discriminated against based on their origin.
He made the statement during his meeting with widows, members of the Rastafarian faith, and the Hindu and Ismaili communities at the Idrissa Abdulwakil Hall in Kikwajuni, Mjini Magharibi Region.

In their meeting, the Presidential candidate seized the opportunity and urged the groups to come out in large numbers to vote for him and other CCM candidates.
Additionally, he told the people that he is determined and devoted to bringing about progress and prosperity if chosen for another term.

“CCM recognizes all individuals and no group will be discriminated against. We continue to protect widows and will introduce strict laws against parents who abandon their children.”
He also said that the party will include all groups in empowerment programs.
