CCM pledges to construct dispensaries, schools in the Kibamba constituency

DAR ES SALAAM: CHAMA cha Mapinduzi (CCM) parliamentary candidate for Kibamba Constituency, Angellah Kairuki, has assured her residents of the timely completion of road infrastructure and water project as well as making sure that dispensaries and schools being built at the moment are completed within a short time.
Speaking during the general election campaign in Saranga Ward in Kibamba constituency, Dar es Salaam, Kairuki also said the government will continue to enable motorcyclists (bodaboda, bajaji riders) and petty traders do business in a safe environment, while promising to monitor the availability of toilets in informal business areas to avoid disease outbreaks.

“If I get your approval, I will oversee the construction of a new school in the Upendo neighborhood to eliminate the hardship of children walking long distances to pursue education. I will monitor the implementation of six road projects, including Kimombo, Taabu, Suka, Ukombozi, and Peponi–KKT Temboni.
She added “I will strive to address the challenge of the lack of primary schools in Upendo neighborhood, where children have been walking long distances to pursue education and sometimes get into accidents, I will monitor the construction of new schools in Kimarabaruti, King’ongo, Mavurunza, and Saranga areas, as well as adding classrooms and desks in existing schools,” she stressed.
Adding, she said she will continue to oversee health, education, water, road, and economic empowerment projects, along with ensuring that the Bangu, Pasaka, and Ruvu Chini water projects are completed on time.
Speaking about some of the achievements under the CCM government, Kairuki said the government has invested 100m/- for the construction of an outpatient building, which is expected to be put into use in November this year.

“The government has successfully constructed a two-floor building at the Kimara Health Centre at a cost of Shs 427 million, in addition to purchasing hospital equipment worth 100m/-, CCM has invested Shs 35.8m/-to build new classrooms and provide midday meals to students.
She said more than 1.3bn/- has been used to build 50 classrooms, 35 toilet facilities, as well as the construction of Ukombozi, Kigongona, and Kisaranda secondary schools for 377m/-.

Regarding roads, she said more than 1.8bn/- has been used to build Kimombo, Suka, Kibongo, Sadaka, and Sura roads, which are in various stages of construction, as well as storm water drains, noting that the construction of 1.23 kilometers of the Kibanda cha Mkaa and Temboni Polisi roads is ongoing.
For her part, Chairwoman of the CCM women’s union, Mary Chatanda, has urged women to vote and encourage their husbands to vote by October 29 and to elect Dr Samia Suluhu Hassan.
“We women are making efforts to ensure that our fellow woman gets the vote, and President Samia has done a great job. Women, be at the forefront to ensure that when she passes, remind your husbands to vote and constantly urge them with love,” she stressed.

She added, “I tell them, they are fooling these candidates, you have spoiled their manhood. Samia has done great things, and the Chama Cha Mapinduzi party has been impressed by her due to her good performance in the past years. I ask you to pray for Samia’s vote when October 29 comes, and Kairuki, but don’t forget the councilor.
Saranga Ward Councilor Candidate through Chama cha Mapinduzi (CCM) ticket, John Sanga said the government has given them 60m/- for the repair of equipment on the water side, the distribution of pipes is ongoing, and the construction of the Bangulo and Goba water tanks is serving the people.
