The main objective is to galvanize multisectoral collaboration, strengthen accountability mechanisms, and mobilize investments to sustain and enhance nutrition outcomes in Tanzania. Given the multisectoral nature of nutrition, the conference aims to foster collaboration among government entities, development partners, civil society, academia, and the private sector.
The 11th JMNR will be a two-day event organized in sessions and covered with various presentations, facilitated panels and plenary discussions and exhibitions. The guest of honor is expected to be Honourable Kassim Majaliwa, the incumbent Prime Minister of the United Republic of Tanzania. The meeting is expected to be attended by around 500 nutrition stakeholders, both from within and outside the country.
