Arusha resident offers 50m/- support to CCM presidential candidate

ARUSHA: THE leader of Ngurumo ya Upako Church, headquartered in Arusha Region, Prophet Dr. Geo Davie, has donated 50m/- to the Chama Cha Mapinduzi (CCM) party in Arusha to support the party’s presidential candidate, Dr. Samia Suluhu Hassan.

Dr. Samia is expected to hold campaign rallies in the region in October this year.

Prophet Geo Davie handed over the donation on Thursday, September 25, 2025, at the CCM Regional Headquarters in Arusha. Speaking during the handover, he expressed pride in supporting his party and extended his best wishes to Dr. Samia as she prepares for the upcoming elections.

“I am grateful for the opportunity to contribute to our party, Chama Cha Mapinduzi, especially as we prepare to welcome our National Chairperson to Arusha Region during this critical election period,” said Dr. Geo Davie.

On behalf of the CCM Regional Chairperson, CCM Arusha Regional Secretary, Mr. Musa Matoroka, thanked Prophet Geo Davie for his generous and voluntary contribution. He emphasized that both the party and the government appreciate Prophet Davie’s spiritual leadership and his continued support for community development initiatives across Arusha Region.
