Samia pays homage to Mkapa in her Mtwara campaign rally

MTWARA: THE Chama Cha Mapinduzi(CCM) presidential candidate, Dr. Samia Suluhu Hassan, has participated in a short prayer service and laid a wreath at the grave of the Third Phase president, Benjamin William Mkapa.

The prayer service was led by Father Cyril Massawe, Parish Priest of St. Thérèse of the Child Jesus Catholic Church in Lupaso.

The event took place today, Wednesday, September 24, 2025, in Lupaso village, Masasi District, Mtwara Region the birthplace and final resting place of the late President Mkapa.
