Singida Black Stars in title decider against

DAR ES SALAAM: THE 2025 CECAFA Kagame Cup reaches its climax today as Tanzania’s Singida Black Stars FC take on Sudan’s Al Hilal SC at the KMC Complex in Dar es Salaam.
Under the guidance of their Argentine head coach Miguel Gamondi, Singida Black SC will be aiming to lift their first-ever Kagame Cup title and bring the trophy home.
Their opponents, Al Hilal, are driven by both experience and a strong desire to finally claim the long-awaited glory.
Both teams secured their place in the final with convincing semi-final victories at the same venue on Saturday.
Al Hilal SC exacted revenge against Rwanda’s APR FC the side that eliminated them at the same stage last year with a 3-1 win after extra time.
Reflecting on the match, Al Hilal coach Laurentiu Aurelian Reghecampf said: “It was a tough match. My players showed heart. This victory means a lot.”
In the second semi- final, Singida BS saw off local favourites KMC FC with a 2-0 win.
Clatous Chama opened the scoring just before half-time, followed by a second from Ande Koffi to seal the result.
