Simba unveil striker Mwalimu

DAR ES SALAAM: SIMBA SC have signed striker Seleman Mwalimu on a one-year loan deal from Moroccan club, Wydad Casablanca.
The announcement was made yesterday on Simba SC’s official website and social media platforms, including Instagram.
The club confirmed that striker Mwalimu (20), who is known for his ability to score with both feet and head, bringing added depth to Simba’s attacking line has sealed the deal.
Before joining Wydad in the last transfer window, he played for Fountain Gate FC, scoring six goals in the Mainland Premier League.
He has played in a number of Tanzanian clubs before – KVZ FC and Singida Black Stars.
According to the club, his local experience and participation in international competitions influenced the decision to sign him.

Mwalimu was part of Wydad’s squad at the FIFA Club World Cup held in the United States in June. Simba also released a video to introduce the player.
In the video, Mwalimu greeted Simba fans and said he had arrived at the club, marking the start of his new life there.
With nine days remaining before the transfer window closes, Mwalimu becomes the latest addition to Simba’s growing list of new signings.
Others include Morice Abraham, Naby Camara, Jonathan Sowah, Mohammed Bajabeer, Hussein Semfuko, Rushine De Reuk, Neo Maema, Anthony Mligo and Allasane Kante.
