Airtel Money launches double-value campaign to boost digital financial inclusion

DAR ES SALAAM: Airtel Money Tanzania on Thursday launched a double-value campaign dubbed “Airtel Money Ni Buree and Ni Nafuu,” reaffirming its position as the most affordable service provider in the market.

The initiative is designed to deliver greater value to customers by making everyday transactions more affordable, accessible, and convenient for all Tanzanians.

Airtel Money has consistently provided the best value in the industry and continues to lead in affordability. This launch is in line with Airtel’s ongoing commitment to support the Government’s efforts to promote digital financial inclusion and accelerate the transition toward a cashless economy.

Speaking at the launch ceremony held at Airtel Tanzania Headquarters in Dar es Salaam, Airtel Money Director, Andrew Rugamba, highlighted the impact of the campaign:

““Airtel Money Ni Buree” and “Ni Nafuu” campaign makes sending money and cashing out more affordable, helping our customers save more while giving them the freedom to do more with their money. At Airtel Money, we believe financial services should be affordable, inclusive, and accessible to everyone. By offering free Airtel-to-Airtel transfers via the Airtel App, we are addressing the daily needs of customers—whether buying electricity, airtime, or more—while ensuring they keep more money in their pockets. This is how we drive financial inclusion and make digital transactions a reality for all Tanzanians.”
