Exim, JKCI deliver cardiac care in Comoros

COMORO: EXIM Bank, in collaboration with the Jakaya Kikwete Cardiac Institute (JKCI), has conducted joint medical camps in Comoro, expanding access to essential cardiac care and promoting Tanzania’s medical expertise on the international stage.
The bank’s Head of Marketing and Communications, Mr Stanley Kafu (pictured), made the remarks recently during an event marking JKCI’s 10th anniversary, where Exim Bank staff participated in a cardiovascular screening and awareness session.
“The joint medical camps have provided Comoros residents with much-needed cardiac screenings, diagnosis and treatment options that were previously limited or inaccessible locally,” he said.
He said this strategic partnership between Exim and JKCI has been vital in enhancing community health by expanding access to cardiac care, raising awareness and reaching underserved populations.
He said this partnership reflects Exim’s broader vision of corporate social responsibility in action investing in partnerships that create real, measurable change in people’s lives.
