Karamagi urges Tanzanians to support Samia’s initiatives

BUKOBA: KAGERA Regional CCM Chairman, Mr Nazir Karamagi, has appealed to Tanzanians to support initiatives spearheaded by President Dr Samia Suluhu Hassan, saying the projects are gaining international recognition and are key to national development.

Speaking yesterday, Mr Karamagi said President Samia’s efforts are evident across the country and called on citizens to work hard and ensure the sustainability of government projects for the benefit of both present and future generations.

“President Samia’s efforts are clear for all to see. We must join hands and support her by working hard for our country’s development. These projects are aimed at unlocking economic opportunities that will accelerate national growth,” he said.

He added that leaders have a responsibility to inform the public about achievements made by President Samia in various sectors, including education, health, water and infrastructure.

Mr Karamagi also urged residents of Lake Zone regions, namely Mwanza, Mara, Simiyu, Kagera and Geita, to take advantage of the numerous development projects being implemented under President Samia’s leadership.

He cited major projects such as the Kigongo–Busisi Bridge, the Standard Gauge Railway (SGR) and marine transport projects including MV Mwanza Hapa Kazi Tu, describing them as opportunities to boost business and create employment.

Furthermore, he called on Tanzanians to uphold unity and teamwork, stressing that national development goals are achievable.

“We must all play our part to attain our development goals — goals that are realistic and within reach,” he said.
