Dom, Delhi strengthen ties in business meeting
DAR ES SALAAM: TANZANIA and India held a productive Working Business Meeting in Dar es Salaam over the weekend, focusing on enhancing trade, investment and strategic partnerships between the two nations.
The meeting was key to strengthening bilateral ties, exploring investment opportunities and fostering collaboration in sectors like agriculture, technology and infrastructure.
The Indian High Commissioner to Tanzania, Mr Bishwadip Dey, told Indian investors in Dar es Salaam during the Working Business Meeting that the event shows the importance of strengthening economic partnerships to drive long-term mutual growth and development for both nations.
“The Working Business Meeting served as a pivotal initiative in further augmenting trade and investment linkages between India and Tanzania,” Mr Dey said.
The event aimed at providing a platform for Indian investors, business houses and stakeholders to interact and network with their colleagues in Tanzania.
New Delhi and Dodoma have immense potential to deepen their trade relations and create mutually beneficial investment opportunities capitalising on a long history of diplomatic ties.
