Young Africans have signed two new kit and mechandise contracts with GSM worth 10.1bn/- for a duration of five years.
Breaking the good news in Dar es Salaam today was the club’s president Hersi Said who disclosed that the new deals have been refreshed in order to give the club deserved value.
“The initial kit and mechandise contract we had with GSM under the past administration has run for four years and with the new leadership in place, we have seen it important to improve them.
“With the first upgraded contract, the club will collect 9.1bn/- at the end of five years while the other sponsorship deal with GSM foam will see the club generating 1.8bn/- also after the duration of five years,” says Hersi.
He then seized the opportunity to thank GSM for continuing to produce high quality products and mechandise throughout the period they have been working with the club.
On his part, GSM Chief Commercial Officer Allan Chonjo assured the club that they will continue to partner with the club for as long as necessary.
“We want to be part of helping in the promotion of sports in the country and with this move, it shows that we are serious with this endeavor,” says him.
