Tourism is named the top beneficiary of the Tanzania-Qatar marketing deal   

DAR ES SALAAM: SHOWCASING Tanzania’s rich tourist attractions on Qatar Airways flights has been named one of the several benefits the country will gain from the joint marketing deal between Tanzania and Qatar.

This comes after travel and transportation agents from Qatar who arrived in Tanzania following the participation of the Tanzania Tourist Board (TTB) in the Qatar Travel Mart (QTM).

The visit is organized through the Visit Qatar Roadshow, a key initiative aimed at strengthening strategic tourism cooperation between Tanzania and Qatar.

Ramadhani Dau, Chairman of the Board of Directors of the Tanzania Tourist Board, was among the participants at the exhibition.

He welcomed the team of agents to Tanzania and emphasized the importance of collaborating to promote Tanzania internationally and increase the number of visitors to the country.

Through this partnership, Tanzania expects to benefit in several areas such as promoting Tanzania internationally, including showcasing Tanzanian tourism content on Qatar Airways flights, Joint marketing and international advertising initiatives, Expanding the network of travel and transportation agents and Boosting tourism, investment, and air connectivity

This initiative continues to put Tanzania on the global map as Destination Tanzania Unforgettable, while also building strong business and diplomatic relations through the tourism sector.
