Toto African seek to regain glorious era

THE management of Toto African has promised to build a new football academy specially for developing football talents.

That was revealed on Monday by the club’s Chairman, Gaspar Mwanalyela in an exclusive interview.

“We have a long-term plan, in my four-year regime, at least we will build a special football academy to gather and raise children who will later become great players of our club,” he said.

He said Toto African Sports Club includes various sports and this time they form  a jogging club to encourage more members to join their team.

He promised to help their club to become independent and asked the members of the executive committee to amend their constitution by including new systems and strategies to manage membership discipline and leadership

“I will meet the players who played for Toto Africans. I will hold a meeting with them so that they can provide us with good plans and strategies that will enable us to be promoted to the top-flight league,” he said.

“I will come up with a club system that relies on a company (sponsor) but I will make the club able to enter into partnerships with companies, institutions and people who can help it to operate with the new constitution which we will create,” he said.

On his side Toto African Vice Chairman Juma Mrisho said he has received well the results of the election and thanked the members of the club for choosing him.

“Through Toto, we will make sure the game of football never stops. We will bring back Toto Africans to its glorious era as a highly competitive team,” he said.
