Ten Tanzanian firms in China-Africa for 4th Trade Expo

CHANGSHA, CHINA: Tanzania is set to make a strong showing at the upcoming Fourth China-Africa Economic and Trade Expo, with ten local companies confirmed to participate in the high-profile event scheduled to start from June 13 to 15 this year in Changsha, China.
The international trade fair will officially open its doors following the conclusion of the Forum on China-Africa Cooperation (FOCAC) Coordinators’ Meeting, which began today.
The meeting is expected to set the tone for deeper cooperation and renewed commitment to economic collaboration between China and African nations.
According to the FOCAC secretariat, the event has already drawn significant attention, with over 28,000 participants registered for the highly anticipated trade fair.

Held under the theme: “China and Africa: Together toward Modernization,” the expo will feature over 30 economic and trade events.
These will cover a wide range of sectors, including industrial chain collaboration, green minerals, infrastructure development, traditional medicine, cultural industries, and youth entrepreneurship.
Additionally, dedicated exhibition zones will highlight signature China-Africa cooperation brands, premium African products, tourism opportunities, and partnerships in traditional Chinese medicine.
The expo aims to strengthen economic ties between China and African nations by providing a dynamic platform for business networking, knowledge exchange, and investment promotion.
