Taifa Stars versus Uganda match is set to unfold at a full-housed Benjamin Mkapa Stadium as 51,545 tickets are purchased.
The game takes place on Tuesday as the two neighboring countries battle for maximum points.
Unveiling this on Monday afternoon, the Tanzania Football Federation (TFF) Media and Communication Officer Clifford Ndimbo encouraged people to attend in big numbers.
“Our target to fill the ordinary seats section which accommodates 45,000 seated fans has surpassed.
“Now, we have 51,545 tickets and the exercise of buying them continues,” he says.
He adds: “Gates to the ordinary section will be opened from 12:00pm as such, we just need more Tanzanians to come.
However, the match is expected to begin at 8:00pm.
