Tanzania envisions the rise of digital business with over a million targeted
DAR ES SALAAM: WITH a target to raise over a million digital business practitioners by 204O, the Tanzanian entrepreneurs have been encouraged to embrace a culture of creating new connections with those who have excelled in the industry to grow.
The co-founder of ImagineX Africa, Mr David Irambona, who is a business expert, has made the call during an exclusive interview with the Daily News Digital in Dar es Salaam today, September 12th, 2025.
His remarks come ahead of an impactful online entrepreneurship seminar slated tomorrow, September 13th, that has been labelled as a game changer for entrepreneurs in Tanzania and Africa at large.
“The unique part about this seminar is that we will help to connect the upcoming entrepreneurs who are still struggling to make a breakthrough with their counterparts who are already thriving in this industry.
“Connection is power when one wants to succeed in business…you have to connect with those who are blooming to generate potential ideas to help you grow your business.

“We hope to connect with people who have made it in business and leadership and connect them with those who are struggling or want to go to the next level,” he says.
Adding, Mr Irambona said they will walk away with a general understanding that entrepreneurship is not running a shop, but rather, it is also a problem-solving technique.
“As an entrepreneur, encountering problems along the way is inevitable; hence, how you solve such challenges amicably without giving up is what matters, and this will also be on the menu during tomorrow’s session,” he says.
He further declares that ImagineX Africa is here to accomplish three main objectives, which are training, coaching, and community engagement.
“On top of this, we are aiming to raise one million entrepreneurs and leaders across Africa by 2040,” he concludes.
