Tanzania calls on employers to timely submit social security contributions

ARUSHA: Employers in Tanzania have been urged to submit social security contributions on time and ensure workers’ records are accurate to improve service delivery and reduce member complaints.
Minister for State in the Prime Minister’s Office (Labour, Employment and Industrial Relations), Deus Sangu, made the call earlier on Monday, February 9, 2026, during the Social Protection Stakeholders Conference in Arusha region, noting that proper compliance by employers is key to easing access to benefits and improving efficiency in social security funds.
“Every employer must fulfill their responsibility, as this will help reduce inconvenience for members,” the minister said.
