TanTrade names finalists of its logo design contest

DAR ES SALAAM: THE Tanzania Trade Development Authority (TanTrade) has unveiled the top three finalist logos in the ongoing process to establish an official national mark that will represent products and services made in Tanzania, under the brand “Made in Tanzania.”

According to TanTrade, the authority is responsible for developing the National Brand Mark, which will serve as the official symbol for Tanzanian goods and services in both domestic and international markets. This initiative aims to strengthen the identity of Tanzanian products and enhance their competitiveness globally.

In the first phase of the selection process, TanTrade received a total of 88 logo designs submitted by various designers across the country. After an initial screening, six of the best concepts were selected, and their designers received special training to prepare for the second stage of the competition.

Following the training and expert evaluations, the top three logos were chosen and are now open to the public for online voting. The logo that receives the highest number of votes will be officially registered and adopted as the national brand mark for Tanzanian products and services.

TanTrade has encouraged all Tanzanians to participate in the voting process and help shape the identity of locally produced goods and services.
