TEACHING, like being a doctor, was once a noble profession because, arguably as someone say, it is done for interest of the public and not self-interest and it rewards one with high public respect. Noble it may be, but teachers work is some most harrowing situation and their pupils fare no better.
There is a big paradox in human behaviour with regard to the interest attributed to two different but day-to-day terminologies— how much you make; how much you keep. And, I don’t think any one need assistance on which element gets more importance— rightly or wrongly— and which loses automatically.
I have a broken tap at home which causes water to pour around the surrounding areas and which I have not managed to fix because I have been extremely tied up in work travelling around Tanzania. The tap has only been broken for less than a month but the water authority came to my home and informed me that I was required to visit Court.

I am tempted to write on Albinism as a genetic disorder. Individuals who suffer from Albinism are called Albinos (zeruzeru). It may not be a good word, but commonly people or community calls them so.

When I was working for the United Nations in the land of the Taliban, MAT stood for mutually agreed termination. I don't mean the Taliban and you agreeing that it was OK if they shoot you. It meant you were perhaps scared to die in a foreign land.
I COULD not believe that most of our Tanzanian workers particularly civil servants are pen-pushers who spend little time on official duties rather than concentrating on their extra curriculum activities. It is said that out of the official eight working hours in a day, only two hours may be considered to be productive to most Tanzanian civil servants.
