Stanbic bank reaffirms commitment to inclusive development at CSO WEEK 2025

ARUSHA: Stanbic Bank Tanzania has reaffirmed its commitment to inclusive and sustainable development through its active participation in the 2025 Civil Society Organizations (CSO) Week, taking place in Arusha from June 2 to June 6.
Now participating for the fourth consecutive year, Stanbic Bank continues to collaborate with civil society partners in advancing innovative and tailored financial solutions that address grassroots development needs.
Speaking during the opening panel, Doreen Dominic, Head of Public Sector at Stanbic Bank, emphasized the bank’s role as a value-adding partner in empowering communities and supporting long-term socio-economic progress.
“We believe that real development happens when financial institutions and civil society work together. At Stanbic, we are committed to creating pathways to progress through inclusive finance, As we celebrate 30 years of driving Tanzania’s growth, we remain committed to working hand-in-hand with civil society, the private sector, and government to unlock the full potential of our communities. Tanzania is our home, and together, we’re shaping pathways to a more equitable and resilient future.” Dominic stated.
Throughout the week, Stanbic Bank is hosting a Financial Education Hub at its booth, where certified financial experts are providing free financial literacy sessions to participants.
In addition, the bank will hold a financial empowerment seminar in Karatu on Wednesday, targeting local entrepreneurs and communities through its Stanbic Biashara Incubator.
Stanbic Bank’s participation in CSO Week 2025 aligns with its long-standing mission to be more than a financial institution—serving as a driver of opportunity, resilience, and inclusive growth in Tanzania.
