Simba land in Cairo for AFL encounter against Ahly

A 24 – man Simba squad has landed safely in Cairo, Egypt ready for Tuesday’s African Football League (AFL) return leg against Al Ahly on Tuesday.

The first leg clash at Benjamin Mkapa Stadium in Dar es Salaam on Friday elapsed in a 2-2 balance hence it is still a 50-50 clash.

It is a decisive game as the overall winner steps into the semifinals and the Reds have already vowed to eliminate Al Ahly in the tournament.

Simba’s full squad comprises of the following players.

Goalkeepers: Ayoub Lakred, Ally Salim and Hussein Abel.

Defenders: Shomari Kapombe, Mohamed Hussein, Israel Mwenda, Hussein Kazi, Kennedy Juma, Che Malone, David Kameta and Henock Inonga.

Midfielders: Fabrice Ngoma, Sadio Kanoute, Mzamiru Yassin, Saidi Ntibazonkiza, Willy Onana, Clatous Chama, Abdallah Hamis and Luis Miquissone.

Strikers: Jean Baleke, Moses Phiri, Kibu Denis, John Bocco and Shabani Chilunda.
