Serengeti Girls aim for Morocco in UNAF U-17 Tournament
TUNISIA: THE Serengeti Girls U-17 team is set to face Morocco today in their second match of the UNAF U-17 tournament in Tunisia.
After a convincing 4-1 victory over Egypt in their opening game, Tanzania’s youth team is eager to build on their strong start.
Head Coach Bakari Shime noted that the team had limited time for intensive training and faced challenges adapting to the hot weather in Egypt.
Despite these hurdles, Shime is optimistic about their chances in the remaining matches.
The Serengeti Girls’ 4-1 win against Egypt was marked by goals from Mwatima Mwarabu, Yasinta Joseph and Jamila Rajabu.

Shime emphasised the importance of maintaining team unity and focus as they prepare for their final group stage match against the host nation, Tunisia.
Despite the challenge of playing in front of a home crowd, the Serengeti Girls aim to showcase their skills and advance further in the tournament.
