SBL unveils new spirit brand to capitalise on fast growing market

Serengeti Breweries Limited (SBL) has launched a new spirit brand to take advantage of the growing spirits market in the country as well as giving consumers varieties of choices.

According to a global market research company-IMARC Group report, Tanzania spirits market is expected to reach a value of 1,062 million US dollars in 2027 compared to 606 million US dollars in 2021.

The statistics show that the Tanzania spirits market is growing at a compound annual growth rate (CAGR) of around 10 per cent during the 2022-2027 period.

It is along these lines that SBL is capitalising by introducing a new beverage brand Captain Morgan Gold in order to expand consumers’ spirit choice and the beverage firm’s market share.
