Pape Sakho

Former Simba player Pape Sakho says despite leaving the club, it will still be his family.

On leaving, the Senegalese star has written an emotional farewell message on his Instagram account, noting that it is hard to say goodbye.

“It was a difficult decision to make, but football is like that. The most important thing for me is that we are already a family and that you have always supported me.

“I do not even have words to describe how sad I am on this. I think that football is about trying to climb a ladder, but I know that Simba is still my family.

“Wanasimba, I will see you everywhere and I want to say thank you for your love. I love Simba, and it will always be like that.

“One day I will narrate to my children the meaning of Simba. Thank you very much and I hope the team will always. Thank you all the players, to the leaders of Simba, to the coach and staff. All trophies, InshAllah,” writes Sakho.

“Thanks to my new club Quevilly Rouen Metropole (QRM) for granting me the opportunity to go to the highest level. Goodbye, family,” he writes.
