Russia embarks on free Russian language to Tanzanians
TANZANIA : St. Petersburg State University is set to start providing Russian language and culture courses to Tanzanians beginning August 27, 2023 for free of charge.
Lectures and seminars will be provided with leading experts from St Petersburg University and other Russian universities starting from 27th August – 28th 2023.
St Petersburg University is the oldest university in Russia with rich experience in teaching Russian as a foreign language.
The two day classes will be offered to the people within the framework of the project “Center for Open Education in Russian” under the University and the Ministry of Education of the Russian Federation.
On August 15-16 this year the University in collaboration with the Russian House in Dar es Salaam, prepared the Russian Culture Festival that was attended with more than 200 participants.
St Petersburg University Center’s opening in Tanzania has been supported by the Ministry of Education of the Russian Federation.
