President Samia appoints, fires and transfers 21 officials

TANZANIA: President Samia Suluhu Hassan has appointed various leaders, transferred others and sacked one.

A statement issued by the Director of Presidential Communications, Ms Zuhura Yunus early Thursday stated that the President has appointed three new Regional Administrative Secretaries, transferred six District commissioners and 15 District Executive Director (DED’S).

The new and transferred leaders are as follows;

Transferred district commissioners

1. Mayeka Simon Mayeka, Chunya to Kongwa
2. Remidius Emmanuel, Kongwa to Kiteto
3. Mbaraka Bateka, Kiteto to Chunya
4. Colonel Hamis Maiga, Rombo to Misenyi
5. Colonel Wilson Sakullo. Misenyi to Ngorongoro
6. Raymond Mwagwala, Ngorongoro to Rombo.
Transferred district executive directors
1. Rose Manumba, Kigoma to Malinyi
2. Rehema Said, Malinyi to Mbulu town council
3. Yefred Myenzi, Mbulu town to Geita town council
4. Zahara Michuzi, Geita town council to Ifakara town council
5. Lena Nkya, Ifakara town council to Tunduma town council
6. Chiriku Chilumba, Namtumbo to Kigoma
7. Kisena Mbuba, Kilosa to Shinyanga
8. Simon Berege, Shinyanga to Rufiji
9. Michael Gwimile, Rufiji to Kilosa
10. Regina Bieda, Momba to Kibaha
11. Mwajuma Nasombe, Mwanga to Moshi
12. Rashid Gembe, Moshi to Mkinga
13. Zahara Msangi, Mkinga to Mwanga
14. Philemon Magesa, Tudnu town council to Namtumbo
15. Butamo Ndalahwa, Kibaha to Momba

Newly appointed Administrative Secretaries

1. Maryam Muhaji has been appointed as the new Manyara Regional Administrative secretary replacing Karoline Mthapula who will be assigned to another task.
2. Zuhura Rashid has been named as the Ruangwa District Administrative Secretary. She
replaces Shamim Sadiq who will be assigned to other tasks.
3. Michael Kachoma has been appointed as the new District Executive
Director for Busenga replacing Veronica Sayore whose appointment has been revoked.
