ARUSHA: Chama Cha Demokrasia na Maendeleo (CHADEMA)’s Vice Chairperson, Tundu Lissu and three others have been arrested by Arusha Police for allegedly organizing illegal gatherings.
A statement issued by Arusha Regional Police Commander ACP Justine Masejo said the politician and his fellows were also arrested for hindering the Police Force officers from discharging their duties.
ACP Masejo added in a statement issued on Sunday that Lissu and his fellows are being grilled by the Force prior to other legal actions.
