Vodacom Tanzania Chief Officer Sales and Distribution Hassan Saleh said the company was reaching out to its Muslim customers through the Care & Share programme during the important Holy Month of Ramadhan for the Muslims. “For the last five years, we have been running this campaign during the Ramadhan period.
Muslims form a large chunk of our customers and during this period, we would like to provide what we can to appreciate them and also enable them feel as part of the community,” says Saleh.
The Care and Share campaign is the means through which Vodacom Foundation addresses issues facing orphans and orphanage centres. For the past five years, hundreds of orphan’s lives have been changed and improved through this campaign. The campaign is part of several activities and promotions that the company has initiated to benefit Muslims.
