Thailand club seek ITC for Tanzanian striker

Tanzania Football Federation (TFF) Information Officer, Boniface Wambura said on Tuesday that the request was sent to them by the Thailand Football Association (FAT). Wambura said Mgimwa who is currently in Thailand, is lined up to feature for the second division club should logistics work out as planned.

He said TFF is working on the procedures including contacting Mtibwa Sugar, which was the last club he played for before opting for the professional career in Thailand. “We will issue the ITC after all procedures are completed,” said Wambura.

Meanwhile, Wambura said 14 First Division teams will be in seven different venues today in the league group matches. At the Mkwakwani Stadium in Tanga, Mgambo Shooting will host Transit Camp, while Tanzania Prisons will take on Small Kids at the Sokoine Stadium in Mbeya, whereas JKT Mlale will be locking horns with Mbeya City at the Majimaji Stadium in Songea.

Also on the menu today will be the match pitting Police Iringa and Majimaji at the Samora Stadium in Iringa whereas their colleagues, Polisi Morogoro will be at the Jamhuri Stadium playing against Morani FC of Manyara. At the Sheikh Amri Abeid Stadium in Arusha AFC will host Tabora’s Rhino FC, while Polisi Tabora will be hosting 94 KJ at the ali Hassan Mwinyi Stadium in Tabora.
