Wambura said delegates to the meeting are set to arrive in Dar es Salaam on Friday and have been booked at Royal Valentino Hotel. The delegates comes from all regional sports associations, Premier League clubs and TFF affiliate sports associations such as Football Referees Association of Tanzania (FRAT), Tanzania Women Football Association (TWFA), Tanzania Sports Medicine Association (TASMA) and Tanzania Football Coaches Association (TAFCA).
“At least 11 agendas will be put on the table for discussion; top among them will be to review TFF’s performance in the past 12 months, discuss the president’s speech and discuss the 2012 budget as well as deliberate on federation’s audited accounts,” said Wambura.
The meeting was earlier planned for last month, but was pushed back for what Wambura then termed as unavoidable circumstances.
Meanwhile, Wambura said the national women soccer team Twiga Stars head coach Charles Boniface Mkwasa, has picked 25 players who will move into the camp today, to shape up for the friendly match against Zimbabwe set for April 28 in Dar es Salaam.
The friendly match will serve as part of build up for the team to keep fit for the Africa Women Championship qualifier encounter against Ethiopia, in which the first leg will be held away in Addis Ababa and the return leg match two weeks later in Dar es Salaam. Wambura said all the selected players will undergo medical examination on Saturday, before kicking off intensive training the following day.
The selected players are Amina Ally and Rehema Abdul (Lord Baden), Asha Rashid and Aziza Mwadini (New Generation, Zanzibar), Etoe Mlenzi and Maimuna Said (JKT Mbweni), Evelyne Sekikuto, Mwanaidi Tamba, Mwanahamisi Omari, Fatuma Khatib and Zena Khamis (Mburahati Queens), Fadhila Hamad, Hanifa Idd and Zena Said (Uzuri Queens).
Others are Mwapewa Mtumwa, Fatuma Omari, Fatuma Mustafa, Rukia Khamis (Sayari), Mariam Aziz, Mwajuma Abdallah, Semeni Abeid and Veneranda Mtamo (Tanzanite), Siajabu Hassan (Evergreen), Sophia Mwasikili (Luleburgaz Spor Kulubu, Turkey) and Fatuma Bashiri (Simba Queens).
