Youngsters will dress up as their favourite artist and music hero and this will allow them to freely express themselves with no fear. They will be accorded a VIP red carpet welcome coupled with an exciting entertainment from Mwasiti Almasi from Dar es Salaam whose song – Soldier -- is now riding highly in the music circles in Tanzania.
Mechanic for admission into the party is two bottles of Coca-Cola which will be readily available for sale at the door. “Coca-Cola has decided to organize teen parties in Tanzania to further promote active life style among the youths and enhance the connection between Coca-Cola brand and its consumers”, said Salome Mabirizi, Coca-Cola Brand Manager Tanzania.
The teen parties dubbed ‘Waka Waka na Coca-Cola’ will run in two phases throughout the year with the first phase involving three big launch parties. The Mwanza launch on Saturday is one of the trio inaugural events while the second launch bonanza will be staged in Arusha on Saturday, February 19 before wrapping up with an equally exciting show in Dar es Salaam on Saturday, February 25.
Arusha music fans should brace themselves for a grand entertainment from one of the favourite artists, Cpwaa, who is known for his appealing voice and non-stop dancing style while on stage. Longtime outstanding Bongo Flava music star Jo Makini will be in command of the Dar es Salaam launch on February 25.
