The assurance was given by the bank’s Marketing Manager, Mr Solomon Haule when talking to a delegation of students from Baobab Secondary School who toured at the bank’s offices in Dar es Salaam over the weekend.
“We recognise the importance of education for the country’s development and we will continue supporting it through our various programmes,” he said. Mr Haule told the students to study hard in order to realise their dreams and contribute to the development of their nation.
A teacher who accompanied the students, Mr Wallace Togolai thanked the management of the bank for accepting the visit and talking to students saying that the tour has significantly added value to their knowledge. “This tour adds value to what they have learned in class,” he said.
One of the students, Ms Jackline Stambuli said that she had learned a lot from their visit and requested the bank to continue with the spirit needed to mould young and upcoming professionals. “We have learned a lot… we request the bank for commitment to help students like us,” she said.
During the tour, the students were briefed about the bank’s activities, got response for their questions plus visiting various departments at the bank.
