Mbeya University of Science and Technology (MUST) has revoked degree certificates awarded to six graduates conferred on December 2020.

The graduates were from the program of Civil Engineering and Mechanical Engineering.

An advertisement issued by the varsity’s Vice Chancellor, which appeared in the Daily News on Thursday, disclosed no reasons for the cancellation.

The advertisement stated that MUST revoked the certificates in accordance with article 9(2) of 2013.

“As per authority bestowed on the Mbeya University of Science and Technology (MUST) Chancellor under Article 9(2) …. The chancellor has withdrawn degree certificates of six graduates conferred to them on 8th graduation of MUST held in December 2020,” read part of advert.
