ASFC kickoff: Alliance set Nyaishozi on target

ALLIANCE FC assistant coach Ally Kayoga has said his team is well prepared and determined to win against their fellow First League team, Nyaishozi FC when they meet this Sunday at Kaitaba Stadium in the Azam Sports Federation Cup(ASFC) match.

He said all his players are in a good condition and there are no injuries. "We had the opportunity to prepare our team and we are confident we will get good results in Sunday's game," he said.

He said he expects his team to display a good and more entertaining football as Kaitaba Stadium has a good pitch. He has promised his team's fans that he will emerge victorious in the game.

Elaborating on the preparations for the match, Kayoga said his team has been training at Nyamagana Stadium as well as at Alliance School grounds in Mahina Ward.

He called upon the team’s supporters and football fans to turn up in large numbers to celebrate their team's performance.

When they met in the First League match, Alliance FC won 6-3 in the match staged at Nyamagana stadium in Mwanza.

Alliance FC striker Aman Anuru said their goal is to help their team win the match so as to advance to the next stage.

In the First League standings, Alliance are placed 2nd with 10 points from five-game outings. The team has drawn one, lost one and won three matches.
