Until now, Tanzania leads the race for group J qualifiers with seven points from four games similarly to the second placed Benin who also have pocketed seven points, but goal difference favours the former.

A win over DR Congo will see the Tanzanian envoys grabbing ten points thereby cementing their chances to step into the knockout phase of the qualifiers whereby the top placed team from in each group will qualify for the two legged playoffs.

In their past meeting in Lubumbashi, DR Congo, the two teams stamped a 1-1 draw hence; time is here to produce the who is better than the other with three points at the stake.

Thereafter, Taifa Stars will be compelled to travel to the bottom placed side in the group, Madagascar for the final match of the campaign.

With the trend of Taifa Stars successes in the unfolding world cup qualifiers, Tanzanian envoys hope to shift into the second gear to make it to Qatar. Only Tanzania and Benin have won two matches in the unfolding qualifiers while DR Congo and Madagascar have won one game apiece as such; the remaining two fixtures for each team will be mouthwatering.

So far, only two teams Morocco and Senegal have advanced into the play off stage of the qualifiers with two games to go as no team in their respective groups can surpass them in terms of points gathered.

Morocco, in their group I have won all four matches to pocket 12 points while the second-placed Guinea-Bissau have four points from the same number of played encounters.
