Kenya Airways has suspended passenger flights between Nairobi and the United Kingdom (UK) effective from April 9, 2021.
In a statement issued on Monday, the Airline said the suspension is due to Kenya’s government directive of suspending all flights from the UK.
On the other hand, they said they have added two new flights on the 7th and 8th April due to the increase of demands for travel to the UK.
"Due to increased demand for travel to the UK before the advisory takes effect, we have added two new flights on April 7 and 8," the Kenyan National carrier said in the statement and added “we sincerely apologise to all our customers for the inconvenience.”
However, Kenya Airways told their customers who have been impacted by the move to change their bookings for later or request a refund with all penalties waved.
