MBAO FC team manager Almas Moshi has warned Lipuli FC to expect turbulence when they meet them in the Premier League at CCM Samora Stadium in Iringa today.
Speaking about his team’s training at CCM Kirumba yesterday, he said the preparation for their Saturday match is going on well without any big challenge.
Moshi said his players are well drilled for the mission. He said he was confident that his team will win the match and achieve their target of winning their ten remaining league matches.
The former Toto Africans coach also confirmed the comeback of their prolific striker Evarigestus Mujwahuki, who is back and fit to face Lipuli FC. Mujwahuki missed six matches because of injury. He said his team’s attacking and defending systems are foolproof; a situation he says assures him a landslide victory.
Mbao FC, who are sponsored by GF Trucks & Equipment, lost their last two matches; 2-1 to Young Africans at CCM Kirumba Stadium and 2-0 to Mtibwa Sugar at Manungu Complex in Morogoro.
Commenting on the ongoing Mainland Premier League, Moshi said the league is very tough; hence they will fight hard until the end of it. After Lipuli FC tie, Mbao FC will face Mbeya City next Saturday at CCM Sokoine Memorial Stadium and then they will travel back home to face Ndanda FC at CCM Kirumba Stadium.
Mbao FC are now placed sixth in the ongoing Premier League standings after gathering 36 points in their last 28 outings.
