Two legislators throw in the towel

Two Members of Parliament (CUF) have resigned in a row from their positions and party membership today.

The legislator for Temeke Constituency, Abdallah Mtolea and Tandahimba's Katani Ahmadi announced their resignation in a stretch of a few hours as the National Assembly's 13th meeting of the 8th Assembly is ongoing.

Mtolea made the public notice in Parliament, during a parliamentary session before walking out of the august House.

He explained that his decision is being influenced by the ongoing dispute within his opposition party CUF.
