Bank targets financially underserved SMEs

LETSHEGO Bank Tanzania targets to extend services to financially underserved micro and small entrepreneurs by using innovative and customer focused financial solutions.

The newly appointed Chief Executive Officer for the Bank Mr Thabit Ndilahomba, said in Dar es Salaam yesterday that his priority would be to offer simple and accessible financial products focusing on the needs of individuals as well as micro and small entrepreneurs.

“Letshego Bank Tanzania’s competitive advantage focus on offering products that resonate well with the market,” he said adding that by increasing access to appropriate financial solutions and encouraging our customers use their funds for productive purposes, Letshego aims to support the growth of economically active members in the local economy.

He said extending Letshego’s reach and enhancing the bank’s value proposition for customers, staff and other stakeholders is one of his priorities is also of supreme value.

“I am excited about the opportunities that my new role presents in delivering a strategy that not only enhances Letshego’s brand and reputation in the country but also stands to bring further value and benefits to one of our most important stakeholders, our customers,” he noted.

Mr Ndilahomba formerly worked as Chief Financial Officer in the bank plans to bring to his new role a valuable understanding and appreciation for the financial dynamics and performance of the business as a whole.
