NCBA recognises corporate partners
DAR ES SALAAM : NCBA Bank Tanzania on Wednesday launched a strategic campaign to enhance profit maximisation for their corporate partners.
The Bank’s Managing Director Mr Claver Serumaga said the purpose of the ‘Maisha ni Hesabu’ is to give financial support to the corporate partners from the said sectors through loans to enable them maximise their earnings.
“Today [yesterday], we embark on a journey of transformation by introducing this movement which is a promise to our corporate partners to be the cornerstone of their financial success,” said Mr Serumaga.
The campaign is specifically targeting big business dealers and it is focusing on major five business sectors including transportation, communication, manufacturing, supplying, construction, and the tourism sectors.
He added that the lender, with a total of five operating branches countrywide, is also planning to launch a mobile platform shortly which will bring convenience to the customers.
“We are on the verge of launching an internet packaging solution for our corporate customers, to enable our corporate customers to interact,” he added.
NCBA’s Head of Corporate Banking Mr Godson Biyengo, said through the campaign eligible businesses from the mentioned target areas will benefit from the programme plus their chain value purposely to ensure that their partner’s earnings go up.
NCBA Tanzania is a medium-sized financial services provider in the country and is a subsidiary of NCBA Group, a financial services conglomerate headquartered in Kenya and subsidiaries in Rwanda, Uganda, and Ivory Coast.
The bank came as a result of a merger between NIC Bank Tanzania (NIC) and the Commercial Bank of Africa (CBA) Tanzania in 2020.
