Kwala Industrial Hub assured of foolproof security
KIBAHA: PRESIDENT Samia Suluhu Hassan directed the Inspector General of Police (IGP) to bolster security around the Kwala facility to ensure the hub operates in a safe and secure environment.
President Samia issued these directives while addressing residents of Kwala in Kibaha rural district during the launch of the Kwala logistics hub and SGR freight services, and the unveiling of the Kwala Industrial Park.
The Kwala Industrial Park is expected to attract both local and international manufacturers, as it lies adjacent to a major logistics hub with direct rail links to key markets.
The initiative is in line with the government’s industrialization agenda under Vision 2025, which seeks to create employment, enhance value addition, and diversify the economy.
