The 2022/23 Premier League golden boot winner will be known after a meeting by the Tanzania Premier League Board (TPLB), it has been known.
This comes following a tie of 17 goals by Young Africans striker Fiston Mayele and Simba playmaker Saidi Ntibazonkiza.
“There are some guidelines which will be considered during the meeting before naming the golden boot hero of the season,” confirms TPLB Chief Executive Officer Almasi Kasongo.
Meanwhile, 24 goals have been scored at eight hosting venues in today’s last fixtures of the campaign.
Azam have seized the show after recording 8-0 win over relegated side Polisi Tanzania at Azam Complex.
Only one match (Namungo versus Singida Big Stars) has seen both sides sharing one point after a 1-1 draw.
Also, nine hat-tricks have been recorded in the elapsed season.
