GGML wins Best Overall Exhibitor at 2023 OSHA Exhibition

At Geita Gold Mine, safety is the company’s most important value, which has enabled the company to change the culture in the workplace so that employees work according to health and safety principles and live these values as normal daily practice.

The Minister of State in the Prime Minister’s Office, Labour, Youth, Employment and Persons with Disabilities, Prof Joyce Ndalichako, handing over an award to GGML’s Communication Officer, Doreen Denis, after the company emerged as the winner in the category of best exhibitor during the ongoing occupational health and safety exhibition in Morogoro region.

GGML’s Communication Officer, Doreen Denis says, “We are proud to announce that GGML was awarded Best Overall Exhibitor at the 2023 OSHA Exhibition in Morogoro.

This award is a testament of AngloGold Ashanti’s Tanzania operation commitment to Safety and Health at Work, and we couldn’t be more excited about it.
