Former MP Nimrod Mkono 1943-2023

FORMER Musoma Rural and Butiama lawmaker, Advocate Nimrod Mkono has passed away in Florida, United States.

Her eldest daughter, Leah Mkono confirmed to the Daily News Digital that his father died at his home.

Advocate Mkono is being survived by a wife and four children.

The politician was born 18 August 1943 and passed away today  April 18, 2023.

The former CCM cadre held various post including chairperson of the Higher Education Students’ Loans Board (HESLB).

He is the founder of Mkono & Co, the famous law firm headquartered in Dar es Salaam.
